Where are Numedal, Kongsberg, and Larvik?

The land around </FONT><B>Kongsberg</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > is much more gentle and therefore more accommodating to agriculture.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> There are many fine museums in the valley and, of course, the silver mines of <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#3300CC" FACE="Arial" ><B>Kongsberg</B></FONT> are a great attraction.</div> <bR> <div> The four kommunes (municipalities) in <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#3300CC" FACE="Arial" ><B>Numedal</B></FONT> are Nore og Uvdal, Rollag, Flesberg, and Kongsberg.  The churches and towns in these areas are Dagali, Tunhovd, Uvdal, Rodberg, Skjonne, Nore, Veggli, Rollag, Flesberg, Lyngdal, Lampeland, Svene, Jondalen, Kongsberg, Hedenstad, Eftelot, Komnes, and Tuft.</div> <bR> <div> These kommunes (municipalities) are in Buskerud Fylke (County).</div> <bR> <div> <B>Larvik </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#330000" FACE="Arial" >kommune</FONT><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > (municipality) lies just south of Kongsberg and is in Vestfold Fylke (County). It also borders the Laagen River (same as the Numedalslågen River) from where it leaves Sandsvær and flows into the ocean.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> In the olden days this kommune consisted of Lardal, Brunlanes, Hedrum, Larvik, Tjolling, and Stavern. Today these have been combined into just the one.</div> <bR> <div> Churches in Larvik Kommune are: Svarstad, Hem', Styrvold, Berg, Tanum, Stavern, Kjose, Larvik, Tjolling, Kvelde, Hedrum, Hvannes.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
